Lightning Cable manufacture date

Hi,

I‘m writing today to end a family disbute about who’s lightning cable belongs to who.

We all have iPhones, and we all have our own lightning cable, but I was wondering if there was a way to find out the manufacture date of a cable? to prove it belongs to a specific person, as it’s a little torn up (due to age and usage) and the person is calming someone has switched cables (they haven’t).

So, is it possible, or do we as a family have no way to end this disbute?

I suggest instead of worrying about who did what, simply spend the US$19 and purchase a new cable.
