Cannot receive Facetime call Mac

Since about three years and as many Mac OS upgrades I've been trying fixing this issue that does not make me receive FaceTime calls on my MacBook Air now running High Sierra, which I also installed from scratch. I can make calls from FaceTime, and make and receive calls from my iPad and iPhone, but no success with receiving calls from the Mac. FaceTime is set up as prescribed, I made any attempt so far but no success. Can you please help me?k
