Get Dark Skies or Weatherline. Those apps provide that information.
I really, really like Weather Line. It's absurdly simple, just a line graph of the temperature hour by hour (or day by day) with an icon indicating precipitation. There's some basic information at the bottom of the screen and a more detailed precipitation pane you can pull up. But, mostly, all you need is the line.
I used to love the fancier weather app (still have a bunch of them on my phone), the ones with the pretty radar but I realized that this was the one I looked at two or three times a day.
Not sure
Which app do see this? Generally, the timeframe for precipitation would be the time of day that it is expected to rain and how long it would last.
I do not see anything that says ‘timeframe for precipitation’ in that app on my phone. If you want to know what the weather channel staff knows, you will need to contact the weather channel.
