I want Hidden Network back!

After upgrading my late 2009 iMac to High Sierra 10.13.1 cannot auto connect to my hidden network. i must select other network and type in my WEP2 login after sleep or restart. network shows up and auto joined if i un-hide, but for obvious reasons i had rather keep my network hidden from public view.
