How do I uninstall elementary OS Linux from my 2008 MacBook Air

I bought a 2008 MacBook Air off of a person and the operating system runs under elementary Os Loki. I want to restore my Mac and go back to the Apple software so that I can get my texts to my laptop, have the same set up etc. each time I press command and the power but, I can not get past the typing in the WiFi. The screen just remains white while showing I Am connected. What else do I have to do?
