iPad is disabled help!

My nephew tried unlocking my iPad with the wrong code one too many times before I realized it, and now it's disabled.

It is displaying : iPad disabled connect to iTunes.

I've already done that, and rebooted it, still nothing happens.

oh and iTunes displays a notification saying, "iTunes could not connect to this iPad the value is missing"

How can I fix my iPad?

iPad Mini Wi-Fi, iOS 11.1
