I tried to redeem my iTunes gift card but it said it was already redeemed

I bought the card from the store and tried to redeem it on my iPad and it took forever so I pressed cancel and tried again but this time it said it was already redeemed and when I looked at my info it didn’t show I had redeemed it. So I tried it on my phone and I got the same results
