Thanks for the reply, but with the new feature where is senses you driving a car, since it must be using the GPS to sense movement then it must be using the data right? I turned off all the cellular data for all the apps on my phone and in the hour drive home from the office my phone used 0.1 GB of data. No other apps were open and physically turned all the other apps data use off.
Cannot figure out what else might cause it.

Do not disturb doesn't use data by itself, but it also doesn't stop apps on your phone from using data.
GPS uses zero data. Did you turn off Cellular Data itself, or only all of the apps. There's a big difference.
Just by unchecking all the apps in the list.
There are system functions that use cellular data. You would have to turn off cellular data itself to prevent that use. However, if you do, some functions will stop working.
Does do not disturb while driving use data while in use? I keep on blowing through data when not on Wi-Fi, and that is only when I am driving.
