Question: iphone 7 calling issues

My iPhone works fine, touch screen, texting all apps, no issues with any of them. However when I try and make a call the phone starts vibrating the moment that the call is answered by the other party. Then when someone calls my phone when I answer the phone disconnects the call immediately. In both circumstances I cannot hear the other person and they cannot hear me. I've tried restarting my phone, updating my phone, restoring my phone, yet nothing helps the problem. Do I need to take to apple or is there a solution to this issue I'm not aware of. Help if possible? Thanks for your time with this matter.

iPhone 7, iOS 11.1

First, try resetting all settings.

Check under LTE and see if it is set to Voice and Data and if so change it to Data only.

What happens when you go to Settings-General-Accessibility and under Home Button scroll down to Vibration and toggle it off? Does the phone still vibrate when a call is answered?
