iphone 7 calling issues

My iPhone works fine, touch screen, texting all apps, no issues with any of them. However when I try and make a call the phone starts vibrating the moment that the call is answered by the other party. Then when someone calls my phone when I answer the phone disconnects the call immediately. In both circumstances I cannot hear the other person and they cannot hear me. I've tried restarting my phone, updating my phone, restoring my phone, yet nothing helps the problem. Do I need to take to apple or is there a solution to this issue I'm not aware of. Help if possible? Thanks for your time with this matter.
