Apple resellers in India engaging in black marketing

Apple resellers in India are engaging in malpractice. This is what I experienced when I visited Apple's official reseller in New Delhi. They had iphone x in stock but refused to sell it unless I purchased an additional apple watch and 6500 rupees ($100)worth of accessories. When I questioned their policy they told me that it's their "store policy" and Apple has given them full permission to do make their own polocies. The whole experience has made me shy away from buying from Apple again.
