Apple tv froze on tv show icon will not move. Tried to reset holding both top buttons.. nothing. Unplugged 90 times nothing.. Should I just throw this thing in the bay?
If you unplugged the Apple TV it should have restarted and let you do other things. did this not happen? Did it just freeze again after selecting the same App?
What App is it? Is it an Apple default App? Or is it a 3rd party App?
After you unplugged it and it restarted, are you able to access any other apps?

That's not possible. If you unplugged it from power (wall or power strip) it cannot be showing anything on screen. It would be completely turned off, with nothing to show.
If you just unplugged it from the TV, then that won't really do anything.
Unplug it from the wall, or power strip, let it sit for 30 seconds, and plug it back into power.
Sorry I meant I unplugged it and plugged it back in and its just froze on the same screen once it turns back on. Regardless on holding the top two buttons or unplugging it, just get the same thing on the screen.
If it freezes again on the same App, but does not do so on other Apps, then its very very likely the issue is with the app itself.
What App exactly is it? Is it a default Apple App, or one you downloaded from the App Store?

It's froze on the tv shows icon (app) and will not let me move to anything else.
