If you sell it yourself, depending on condition, maybe anywhere from $80-$130.
Make sure you wipe it and deuthorise it from iCloud and iTunes before you try and sell it.

If you’re in the US, Best Buy, Amazon and I think Walmart have online estimators of what your device is worth if you sell it to them. You will get store credit so you will likely get less than if you sell it to someone else.....however the process - at best buy anyway - takes about 15 minutes. (and for me to buy an apple device in my area Best Buy is my only option so it works for me)
Another option for you to explore. Michael’s link about wiping the device applies no matter where and how you sell it.
From Apple’s recycling program, a first gen iPad has zero value. They will only accept an iPad 2 or newer for potential store credit. Similarly, most online used buyers like gazelle.com and amazon won’t give you anything for a device that old. There is no profit to be made for them by buying such an old device.
The only way you’re going to get any money for a 1st gen ipad is to sell it yourself.
It’s a first gen mini....but even still, yeah, unfortunately older devices do not have much value.
I’d never sell my iPad 2, first of all because my mom bought it for me, and second of all it is good for checking email so still has some function. But even beyond that the tiny amount of money isn’t exactly an enticement.
When I sold my 32 gig ipod 4 back to best buy, I got 70 in store credit, when I sold my 5 i got 50, so older devices are wroth less and less because there are so many of them out there. I just look on it like a nice bonus that can make it like the new device is ‘on sale’.
They will still retain more value from a private sale. Places like Apple's partner, Brightstar, Gazelle, Amazon - they're all buying used devices to resell or at least sell parts (often sell those in turn to places like ifixit) so they will only take an item and make an offer if there is room for profit for them when they turn it over.
At some point there just is no room for them left to offer something back and still have some margin of profit for themselves.
