iPhone X problems.

When listening to music on my Bluetooth headphones, the Music stops playing when I turn the screen off (using side button). Also, when notifications come through on my phone, the screen lights up and stays on permanently, requiring me to turn the screen off using the side button manually. Very annoying on a phone a week old! Anyone having these issues or know how to fix??
