Request help resetting MacBook Air

I have my daughters old mac and having problems resetting it to factory settings.

Mac Info:

MacBook Air

Model A1370

Mac OS X, version 10.6.8

Processor 1.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

Memory 2 GB 1067 MHz DDR3

I've tried:

* "Command + R" and Login screen appears

* "alt/option" and Macintosh HD and wifi login appears, Utility Disk does not appear

please help!

Click here, phone Apple, and order a replacement. A retail Snow Leopard DVD is too old for that Mac.

Those aren't available on that Mac model and OS. You need its original thumbdrive.
