Time capsule
Does time capsule have to be connected to wifi modem for me to access saved data on time capsule?

It has to be connected by ethernet to your network.. it cannot connect by wireless to anything except another apple router. It is possible to plug it directly into your computer by ethernet.. but normally it is much easier to have it in the network somewhere.
