FCPX/High Sierra Glitch

Since High Sierra OS update, FCPX is riddled with glitches. Trying to complete a credit roll, FCPX drops entire templates, can't handle simple font, spacing, sizing changes; renders forever, doesn't save... Is there a patch coming? What gives?

We are all anxiously awaiting 10.4.

In different degrees, a lot of people have experienced glitches with 10.3.4 in High Sierra. That is why the pros usually do not upgrade the OS immediately upon release.

Apple announced 10.4 for “later this year” so it could be next week or the very end if the year. I am guessing around mid-December.

Thanks Luis! Also... This helped:

Clear the FXPX cache of all the old stuff:

1.Click Finder

2. On the top bar click 'GO'

3. In the drop down menu click 'go to folder'

4. When the type Bar appears, type in ~/Library/Caches

5. Find the com.apple.FinalCut folder

6. Double click it and clear out the entire folder **NB. DO NOT DELETE THE ACTUAL FOLDER, JUST THE ENTIRE CONTENTS SO THAT IT'S EMPTY**

7. Empty your trash to clear it off your computer

8. Restart your computer to create a brand spanking new FCPX cache..

That should be you all sorted and please let me know if it works!

Again, DO NOT DELETE THE FOLDER.. Just the contents
