Question: High Sierra graphics glitch

After upgrading to 10.13.1 I noticed that in the Edit ➔ Emoji & Symbols ➔ Emoji ➔ Smileys & People, once you get past the Smileys & into the "people" character faces you've always had several different font variations for each face that you could switch back and forth from. Now though, once a font variation has been selected, you can't get back to the "default" variation. Attached is a screenshot showing how "man health worker" is now stuck with pale caucasian skin and a moustache and I can't get back to the yellow-skinned moustacheless version.
