How do I set the Note Range for MIDI?

Hello

I'm doing some specialized editing in MIDI and I'm not sure if Garage Band is what I need. Anyway I need the final song to be MIDI 0.

I need to set a note range and lowest Note. (Anvil on PC is good for this.)

Example:

MIDI Notes- Lowest note F 4 (midi 53)

Number of notes in window (36)

Number of notes to scroll (36)

Specifically working in Piano Roll View (editor).

Can anyone help?

Thanks

GarageBand cannot export a song as a midi file. It can only bounce the song as an audio file, if that is what you want to. Logic Pro X can export midi, but GarageBand cannot, if that is what you are trying to do.

In GarageBand the note range is set automatically to match the notes the selected instrument of the patch can play. Pick an instrument that has the range of notes you are wanting to use.
