Wehen I try to play music from my play list in iTunes it is no sound at my internal speakers or to my headphone output.
From other places like web pages or Quicktime the sound is working normal.
All software on my iMAC are the latest verision!

Try this: from the iTunes menu, choose Preferences, then Restrictions. Check to see if playback is disabled.

Additional information: Video sound and Radio looks ok! But Internetradio and music Album is not working. Maybe that can give you some other ideas...
I took away AVG Free Antivirus Program and everything works perfect!!!!
