Can I install 10.7 Lion on my late 2014 MacBook Pro

I'm wanting to migrate data from a MacBook running 10.6.8 to my Macbook Pro. I'm thinking I need to degrade the OS to 10.7 to ensure complete migration. Can I do thi?
