Question: Is there any way to get back double-story "a" in Notes - High Sierra?

I upgraded to High Sierra. No complaints yet 😉 EXCEPT - what happened to my Notes? I see that is not a new font, it's the same San Francisco - but - for the reasons that are really, really mysterious for me - it uses now one-story "a". Why, oh, why anybody would do that to the users? It's downgrade on readability and usability of the app. For the first time, I'm considering changing for a third party app for notes 😟
