Dear fan90. Does your mobile show any problems? If no why you wqnt to know so hard if the mobile is a refurb or not. Don't make yourself crazy about this. As long everything is working properly the mobile is fine. If you have any issues, im sure any apple store will kindly help you. And refurb or not, i say it again dosent matter. As long your mobile has no scratches and works i would be ok.

First off, lets go through the letter system:

F: Refurbished unit.

M: Retail unit.

N: Replacement Unit

P: Personalized (Engraved) unit.

Secondly never believe anything that those sites tell you. As far as I'm concerned, that information is false. Why you guys believe that I have no idea. So with that out of the way, let's concentrate on the core question.

Definitely as mentioned before your phone is refurbished. No question about that. That's 100% confirmed.

Whether you can get this fixed, is another issue. But in my previous posts, I still stand by those.

The answer is not going to change from your other post. The F in the model number means it is refurbished. That's how you can tell.

There is no way to tell. Refurbished devices are actually inspected better than new. Where did you purchase this device? Is this why you are concerned, because of the purchase?

According to the Wiki that would be a refurbished unit from Apple.
