IPAD- QR Reading Issues

Hey Apple Community,

Anyone know how to optimize reading for ipad to read QR codes? We have an app we implemented and the QR reading is inconsistent. We are using ipad 2017.

Wondering if there are any camera settings or other settings we can modify to max the reading capability?
