Question: LINE App sync issue between Mac OS & iOS

To preface, shame on me for trying to run LINE on both an iPhone and iPad. When you log into one device, it deletes the data on the other. Thankfully, my MBP's LINE has preserved the data.

The issue is now that my iPhone's LINE app is back up, it's from a much older chat history (3+ months old). My MBP's LINE is current as of a couple minutes ago.

I tried looking up Apple Support and LINE Help and couldn't find an answer. Tons of coverage on the LINE iPhone app, less so on the Mac app. Two questions:

1) Can you add LINE data to iCloud from the Mac App? If so, how?

2) I know you can transfer data from iPhone --> Mac App, but can you do it the other way around? I don't want to lose that data a second time (and for good)

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

(Running iOS 11.1.2, Mac OS 10.13.1, LINE for Mac 5.4.1, LINE for iOS 7.15.0)

Unless this app was specifically designed to work with iCloud, you may not be able to sync it with iCloud. Does this app show up in Settings > iCloud?

Hopefully one of these articles can help to answer your question:

Yeah, that's what I was partially hung up on as well. There's LINE data in iCloud (under Manage Storage), but the LINE app for Mac didn't pop up on the list in under Settings > iCloud. I guess the iOS app is the only one that can back up to iCloud.

I'll chalk it up as a loss but thought I'd ask in the off-chance someone had a fix. Thanks so much!
