Can't edit faces in Photos 3.0

It seems that it is no longer possible to remove or move the face recognition circle. Has anyone else had this issue? When attempting to add a face via Info, pre-selected unnamed ROIs pop up which can no longer be deleted - this was possible in prior versions of Photos. Likewise, when adding a face, if the ROI pops up in the wrong place, it can no longer be moved.

I've tried all sorts of key combinations.

Any advice?

Thanks.

It is indeed no longer to remove automatically recognized faces. Just ignore them, don't name them, and don't add them to the People album.

But you should be able to adjust and move faces circles you added yourself. These circles will show an "x" on the circle. If you click it, the added face will vanish again.

If you cannot move or resize a faces circle you added yourself, the image may still be needing downloading from iCloud Photo Library. In that case wait a moment. Other wise, quit Photos and restart it. In rare cases I needed to restart the Mac to be able to edit the faces circles.

The ability to remove automatically detected faces has been removed in the last version of Photos 2.0 on Sierra. Apple never explained why, but when we removed automatically detected faces of strangers or artifacts, it could cause problems, like empty faces albums, or links to empty faces in the memories. This has been prevented by the dropped feature.
