iPhone 7 freezing on calls

My handset has recently come into the same issues you guys are describing. When I make a call or one is incoming as soon as I answer the phone freezes, no sound, soft keys take ages to react and the person on the other end can’t hear me. Tried all the resets, restores and no avail. Calls work fine while connected to Bluetooth which is strange. If anyone finds a solution it would be great as my handset is 13 months old and apple tell me I’m on my own with this one :-(
