Can't print after installing High Sierra

I have not been able to wirelessly print to my Epson WF-3640 printer since installing High Sierra. I CAN print if it is cabled directly to my iMac. I've installed the latest firmware, etc., to no success.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

Hello and welcome to Apple Support Communities grsatx,

It's my understanding that you haven't been able to print wirelessly using your Epson WF-3640 printer since updating your iMac to macOS High Sierra. I know how disruptive it can be to experience complications after updating software, and I'm happy to help you with a solution.

Try following the steps in If you can‘t print from your Mac or iOS device , specifically this section:

If your printer is AirPrint-enabled

If your printer is AirPrint-enabled for printing from your Mac or iOS device, just make sure that it's connected to the same Wi-Fi network used by the Mac or iOS device.1

If you still can't print, try any of these solutions:

  • Restart your Wi-Fi router. Then restart your printer.
  • Move your printer closer to your Wi-Fi router.
  • Update your printer and Wi-Fi router with the latest firmware from the manufacturer.2
  • Update the software for your Mac or iOS device.

If you're using a Mac and you still can't print, it might help to reset the printing system. Otherwise, contact the printer manufacturer for support.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

Take care.
