How come my iP X's Photos doesn't show up in iTune?

Hi

I shot some video on my iPhone X and want to transfer to my MBP.

I'm using AirDrop to transfer but it is pretty slow for 2 4+min files of 4K vid.

Since iTunes quickly transferred some vids on my MBP to iPhone I was hoping the reverse would be posssible but when I connected again Photos, where the vids are, didn't show up?

Why not?

Is there another way to get iTunes to recognize those vids in Photos?

Is there a better quicker way to transfer? iPhotos or even iMovie, maybe?

Thanks for that info and choosing the Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you want to transfer video taken on your iPhone to your Mac. To do this, you can use the Photos or Image Capture apps, and here is more info to help you import these videos.
