After updating my iPad Pro,APPLE I D won't accept my 6 digit code and a red #1 remains on myUpdate space.

iPad Pro 12.9-inch Wi-Fi, iOS 11.0.2

I resolved this myself by going into my system>touch ID & passcode. I then entered the passcode and it was accepted. From there I followed the procedure to change my passcode. When I did this the red#1 was gone. SIGHofRELIEF!
