Should I upgrade Sierra to High Sierra 10.13.1?

So I just purchase my MacBook Pro 15 last weekend. The machine came with Sierra installed. Today I received the message to install High Sierra (assume 10.13.1). I have read what appears to be many problems and issues with High Sierra. So should I upgrade at this point or just stay put and upgrade later?

Thanks

Jim

Complaints sprout like weeds with every macOS upgrade there has ever been, and will arise with every macOS upgrade there will ever be. Going on a decade and a half now, the reasons remain the same: utterly worthless "anti-virus" junk, "cleaning" scams, ill-conceived "maintenance" and "security" products that have no place on a Mac, poorly supported / orphaned third party software... all the usual suspects. And, a few legitimate complaints that might actually matter to you, but don't matter a bit to others.

Read Upgrading macOS without fear. It is intended to address the concerns you express.

Jim, I would wait until a number of these problems have been fixed. Hundreds of issues have been raised so far.

Did you read John's post above? Thousands or maybe even millions of users are using High Sierra without issue, myself included. If you have a specific issue you would like addressed you should start a new thread detailing your issue and system so that we may try to help you.
