iPhone 6s stuck on DFU mode and won't charge.

I had my phone plugged up in the wall charger all night & when I got up this morning it still wasn't charged. I tried switching plugs but it will only charge to 2%. I read online to try a DFU restore but when I did that, my iTunes popped up an error code 5004 & said it couldn't be completed. I had tried rebooting it but still nothing. It's stuck on connect to iTunes screen & still won't charge. I also checked the sim card port & didn't see any signs of water damage. Anybody else experience this & know how to fix it? I have read almost every website on it & everything says the same thing.
