Question: Could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try again.
using a MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012). Running Sierra Version 10.12.5. Have been trying to log in to Messages app on Mac. Once kept on getting Error on activation or something. Now all I'm getting is just Could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try again.
I think my network is perfectly fine. I followed everything decided to give up and create a new apple ID, (this one). (on a side note, I tried posting on my main account and it won't let me sign up for some reason)
Anyways, once I made this account, after doing every single step I could find on Apple, I decided to try to log in to Messages. Lo and behold, it worked, so i logged my phone into this account. I decided to give my main account one more try, since I DID buy stuff on it, and it didn't work. Now when I try to sign into this account, I get the Network connection and now my main account has this error too. Can someone please fix this.
Please also note that I've tried calling Apple Support, someone called Barbara, a senior, who told me to "delete my phone and restore from back-up", and it just didn't work. I gave up on it for about 2 months, but now I really need to use my Apple ID on Messages really badly, as my phone can't be on my 24/7. Someone please help. If you need more details that I forgot to mention, I can tell you if given me the CORRECT directions on how to do so.
