10 ft lightning cable

I need to use my iPad mini 2 on stage. I can’t do so now because I need a 10 ft lightning cable. I have tried several “MFI” certified cables and I get the “accessory not supported”. I know the lighting port works because my iPad is charging as I write this. Has anyone tried or actually used a cable that long with their iPad?
