ios11 phone ringer sound very soft
Do not disturb is off. Incoming call sound is very soft. However, if the phone is face down ringer is loud until I pick the phone up. Ringer then continues but sound is barely audible

iPhone X lowers ringer volume if its face detection algorithm determines that you’re looking at the phone, in which case an audio cue is no longer needed.
It should ring normally when the screen is off, or if you’re not looking at it.
