Dear Apple Support,
There was a pop up which opened and asked me to upgrade to High sierra. I upgraded it and now i dont have any data on my comp. I have lost all the data. Kindly help in recovering those data back. THis is my 12 years data and i cant afford to loose it.

Are you sure you lost all of your data? It sounds like you may have activated Desktop and Documents on your iCloud Drive. Read: Add your Desktop and Documents files to iCloud Drive - Apple Support for details.

Of course it's possible for things to go pear shaped during a major update on any platform. That's what backups are for... You have a backup, right?

Last two times i had upgraded and there was no data loss. Hence, i did the same this time also. unfortunately i have lost it all.
Thank you. data was not lost. i went to finder and saw there was OS and remote disc. Under OS there was user and in that there was all there
