purpose of the two circles or dots above the speaker

I just got an iPhone 8. I noticed two dots above the speaker the first one is above the center of the speaker the second one is to the right of the center dot. There is also a third different dot looks like a flash dot and more pronounced, directly to the left of the speaker..
