Can't use Podcast app after iOS 11

I am from Hong Kong, and after updating to iOS 11, it always shows "can't connect right now" whenever I try to use the podcast app across all my iOS devices. This problem doesn't happen on macOS. And no matter how many updates to iOS 11 (currently I am using iOS 11.1.2), this problem didn't get fixed. I try to report it to the apple genius in Apple Store but they all seem ignorant about it. I really hope that someone from the states can notice this problem and get it fixed in the next iOS update.

I'm having the same issue on iOS 11.1.2, half of the time it says "Can't connect right now" and half the time the whole app stops responding and I keep having to force close the app until it works. I've tried using the app on LTE and 3 different WIFI networks and it behaves the same on all networks, it has to be iOS issue.

Does that happen whether on wifi or mobile data?

It happens on all network. Trust me, I tried so many times. Even the demo units at Apple Store don’t work.
