FaceTime issues Mac OS X High Sierra

after upgrading to mac osx high sierra the person im calling on facetime can't see me(either it's saying on their screen poor connection or it's a black screen) How do I fix this?

Try getting a full bar internet connection, or maby turn it on and off again and retry the facetime call, also make sure all your stuff is fully updated.
