QuickTime cannot read large .Mov file

I have a camera card that somehow is unreadable by any of my devices. I used a program called Card Rescue to retrieve the photos. Although the card has thousands of photos and video clips from August to November, I needed only the last few hundred recovered. All or nearly all of the photos were recovered. I then had the program scan the card for videos only. It searched for AVI, MOV, MP4 files and found one 56 GB file. It shows it as File0001.MOV. QuickTime cannot read it. I tried MG StreamClip, and it tried to recover the movie file, but gave me the message that the first part of it cannot be read. VLC cannot read it. Is there ANY way to recover the last 5-6 movie clips from this file?
