High Sierra treats Sleep mode as an unexpected shutdown

Since I upgraded to macOS High Sierra it treats Sleep mode as an unexpected shutdown. I reset SMC which worked temporarily but the problem has returned.

iMac, macOS High Sierra (10.13.1)
