Why is apple started to charge me for updating the installed apps? I’m not able to update any app everytime its asking to pay first. What shall I do now?

Apple do not charge for updating apps. I don't understand what you are describing.
Occasionally developers will make an new version of an App release that as a new product, and stop releasing upgrades for the old version, which would be chargeable - but that is the developer who chooses to do that, not Apple. If that is the case you need to contact the developer of the application to voice your displeasure.
