My FaceTime is not working on my MacBook pro 13" Mid 2012 but it works perfectly on my iPhone 7

I have a Macbook pro 13" mid 2012. I made a new account for Apple ID. I logged into my FaceTime on my iPhone with that ID and it works fine but whenever I try to log in to my FaceTime or iMessage in MacBook, it says activation error but my iPhone does not says that error. I have tried restarting my MacBook couple of times. Please reply. Thank you in Advance.

MacBook Pro, macOS High Sierra (10.13.1), null

Howdy, facetimeconsumer.

I see that you've created a new Apple ID which you wish to use for FaceTime and Messages on your MacBook Pro. At this point, however, you're being met with an activation error. I'm happy to help.

If you can‘t sign in to your iMessage account or FaceTime on your Mac -- Follow the steps provided in this article.

Take care!
