Hello,

Some solutions to your problem might be.

  1. Factory resetting your laptop.
  2. Deleting unnecessary apps and close unneeded processes
  3. Deleting unnecessary files
  4. Upgrade to the latest OS if possible.

If none of these things work I have noticed that it is possible to upgrade the RAM on your computer. Doing so will dramatically increase the speed of your computer as nowadays 4 gigs of RAM is just not enough.

You can buy RAM virtually anywhere if I were you I would get it upgraded at a local tech shop or follow a IFIXIT guide on how to do it for your laptop.

Hello Christina,

Not a good report but also not necessarily beyond help.

Go down the report from the top. As you come to each item, if it is in red ink with an instruction, follow that instruction.

When you see any MacPaw or Clean My Mac entries, remove them. Clean my Mac is probably your biggest problem.

I don't recognise some of the entries but wherever it mentions Clean something, I would remove it. Your Mac does not need cleaning aids.

Then do repeated etrecheck reports for your own guidance but do not publish until all these items are removed.

Then we can assess again.

MY Mac is so slow! I live on an island in Greece, no help here!
