I have a iPhone 6s plus, but the new 11.1.2 has an update for bugs is specifically for the iPhone X. Do I still need to update? Thanks!

My phone has the 11.1.2 version, but this new update is to fix bugs.

Hi.

Let your iPhone decide.

Go to Settings / Software update.

If your iPhone sees the update and asks you to download and install, give your iPhone the permission to do it.

Although the main features in the update point to iPhone X, there may be security and small bug fix elements in the update file for your iPhone, too.

I updated my iPhone SE the day when the update was released to the public.

Hope this helps.
