Purchased music playlist not adding purchased music anymore

I just got the iPhone 8+ and it seems that now when I purchase music on iTunes it isn’t going into the automatic purchased music playlist. This was the best feature because you knew exactly where to find your music and allowed it to be all in the same place. Is this feature gone? Or is there a bug? Please help because I am close to throwing my phone across the room 😟
