beach balling and adobe failed

How do I fix the adobe problem that failed? Here is my EtreCheck.

You do not need CleanMyMac 3 and Sophos, uninstall them as per the developers instructions.

(they do nothing but cause problems, use the limited RAM that your system has and slow down everything else)

Then test if for a time and re-run EtreCheck.

That Mac Mini is an entry level machine that came with only 4GB of RAM and a really slow 5400rpm Hard Drive. If you wanted to do more than surf the web and some light photo work, then you really should have purchased a upgraded version with more RAM and an SSD thru the on-line store.

Also, how do I correct the adobe problem they said has failed?

Not sure exactly:

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Adobe software?

Try freeing up some system resources by quitting some other Applications?

Whether you had CMM before the beach balling started that does not mean that you shouldn't uninstall Clean my Mac. Believe me, that is a killer.

Please uninstall, plus Sophos ... and test. You can always reinstall both though it would be foolish to reinstall CMM.

And the amount of RAM you have is barely sufficient for High Sierra,whatever Apple says. But you can't do anything about that, and nor can you go back to El Capitan.

If you select text above, then ctrl or right click it & choose Services - Open from the contextual menu; a Finder window should open, showing a folder which may include that
com.adobe.ARMDCHelp… item, assuming that the report section heading 'Launch Agents' is always current.

If you don't plan to uninstall the Adobe software, removing that item & restarting should remove stop it from running.

I agree about removing Clean my Mac & Sophos. If you're sensible about opening downloads, there's no need for any extra security software, including MBAM.

Ideally, reinstall the OS after removing clean my Mac, then test. Either way, check Console.app & Activity Monitor when the beach balling happens : there are sometimes obvious clues in log messages, lack of memory, or CPU use.
