Can I download an iCloud backup of my old Mac to my new Mac

I have on old MacBook Pro which is not booting up. I bought a new MacBook Pro with touchpad etc. I'm trying to figure out how...or if...I can download an iCloud backup of my old Mac to my new Mac.

Thanks in advance if anyone can help!

MacBook Pro TouchBar and Touch ID, macOS High Sierra (10.13.1)

iCloud supports backing up iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) to iCloud but it is not possible to backup a Mac to iCloud. A Mac can sync some data to iCloud (see the settings in Apple menu > System Preferences > iCloud). If you had any of those options turned on in your old Mac you would be able to see the data by using a browser (e.g., Safari) and logging in to www.icloud.com. You would also be able to sync it to your new Mac by turning on the same settings in Apple menu > System Preferences > iCloud.

If you still have the old Mac or a Time Machine backup of it, also see: How to move your content to a new Mac - Apple Support
