Macbook Pro Energy Consumption: External Monitor Clamshell vs. Retina Display
Does the clamshell mode of a Macbook Pro use more energy than just the regular screen?
I have an external monitor that I use in clamshell mode (AC power + lid closed), and was wondering if it drains more battery life out of my Macbook Pro Retina than just the Macbook on its own.
