Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Community. I understand you've had some trouble downloading apps, and I have some information that may help.

In order to download apps your account must be paid current and have either a valid form of payment, or have "None" selected.

You may need to temporarily add a new method of payment to pay a past charge, and then switch it back to "None". Have a look at the articles below to learn how.

Change or remove your Apple ID payment information - Apple Support
